TAC Business Meeting Minutes 06/20/26

Attendees: Travis, Carissa, Kimmie, Michelle, Kim N, Karen, Michelle R, Chryssa, Kaylin, Melissa, Joselyn, Cam, Vivian, Kathy, Tom, Hannah, Drew, Lizzie, Dakota, Danielle

Opened the meeting with a moment of meditative silence followed by the Serenity prayer.

Old Business 

a. Gem State Roundup – 

b. District 4 – Better communication with disctict 4 and the groups out that way. On The Rocks in Caldwell is very interested in working towards adopting a facility meeting once a month.  One of the groups at the All 12 Steps Club may be interested in adopting a facility meeting as well. Also Accessibilities! Trying to grow going to facilities and homeless shelters, this is a growing area.  

c. Picnic – Thank you Michelle!!!  And all committee members!!!  Great job! You are SO appreciated!!!

New Business: 

A- Picnic review- approx. 350 attendees, venmo transactions are 0.10 cents plus 1% for every transaction, Michelle proposes everyone involved with the picnic puts together 2 things that worked and 3 things that didn’t and next meeting we will all be prepared and get to communicate everything clearly. SEND IT TO MICHELLE AT THE ACCESSIBILITIES EMAIL,  

B- Corrections volunteers and solution- Steve stepped down as the male corrections chair.  4 volunteers for Ada county – LOOKING TO FILL IN MALE CO CHAIR, Robert stepped down from distributing books to the prisons.  NEED VOLUNTEERS FOR ALL CORRECTIONS FACILITIES –  

C- Moonlight mountain in east Boise by Micron needs women volunteers for taking in meetings on Thursdays at 7pm.

D- Cam for co-treasurer. Remove Shelby and add Cam Victoria to ICCU account. 

E- Vivian makes a motion to elect Camilla Victoria as the co-treasurer and remove Shelby Marks from the ICCU bank account.

D- HH business meeting

E- Unity Day Picnic July 11th at Kleiner park 11-5pm  involvement – would TAC like to have a table? Try to be a little more organized with the volunteer schedule for events.  Karen, Vivian, Michelle R, Melissa will be there throughout the event. 

H- Pop ups are housed in Carissa’s garage. 

I- Snake River H&I BBQ & the SW ID BBQ (8/15/26) – we had talked about cancelling business meeting. Will discuss more as we move through the month.

J- Some kind of games/ wheel to spin to draw people in to when we have a table at events.
