$52.90 Western Union money order: Question as to who it was from. It is from the Tues Primary
Purpose Women’s group, in Meridian.
The TAC Pink Cans have been so helpful. Please take back to your groups how much it is
appreciated
Star Group asked: Do we send Pink Can and 7th Tradition? Clarified how each works and
indicated it is up to group conscience as to how they do it.
Travis reiterated how we can get the donation opportunities out into the AA community, either at
meetings, assemblies or other AA fellowship events.
Michelle discussed the trifold TAC created that discusses the different arms of TAC and also the
website tvtac.com which has ALL TAC related info.

Old Business:
A-Picnic dates and venue Reminder-overall update and reminders: the Michelles’
Fundraising: ~470/600 out. ~$995 (199 tx) minus 21 donated tickets = 187 tickets. About
$150 is Venmo (minus 3% venmo fee).
Raffle: Michelle will work with the individual leads on this
Baskets – have 9 baskets so far. Please get the word out. Also no home group has
expressed interest in participating in the cook off. Do an email blast. The theme is up to the
group.

Etc – responsibilities. We need help in the potluck section. You will make sure 3 tables
are set up with the plates, silverware, etc, bins for chips, and then run back and forth between
the cook out area to keep hamburgers and hotdogs in stock on the tables.
Also, we need about 15 to help set up (9:00) and then a bunch at the end to help tear down.
Need about 7 volunteers to help at the ticket tables and 50/50 raffle.
Face Painting: Can BACYPAA possibly help Christelle and her helper with this? Michelle B will
talk with Shelby about this.
Bunch of tables, pop ups, coolers will be available from many from the group.
Need 2 cash boxes at entry: Michelle has this covered
Hamburger 350 and Hotdogs 100. Please make sure Carissa has cash up front
Jaywalkers group is looking for white t-shirts for the tie dye table they will have at the picnic. No
cost but any donations will go to TAC
If groups don’t want to make a basket, how can they donate? Donation can at the entry table or
the 50/50 raffle at the event, or if tickets are available for sale at your meeting, can also mark a
ticket as a donation
It was discussed and voted on after the picnic last year to purchase:

  1. Long speaker cable for TVICO PA system ($32)
  2. 10×20 popups x 3 from Walmart ($119 pre tax and free shipping). It cost $105 to rent
    each and 1 time so more economical to purchase
    B: How can the committee help?
    C-Biz meeting in Star (Recovery in Action) was great. Travis, Hannah & Vivian visited. They had
    a lot of good questions. They are a really strong group and have great energy. The question
    about 7th tradition or Pink can donations (mentioned above) came from this group. We were
    able to explain TAC expenses and where the money that is contributed is dispersed. Also
    provide information about how to volunteer. If I have a record, can I still volunteer? The
    committee was able to address that and answer with options. Chryssa expressed the group’s
    appreciation for the visit and information.
    Next meeting the committee will be attending will be on the 31st, in Caldwell, at the On
    The Rocks group
    As a group what is our focus and message:
    Are we carrying the message of hope and service?

A-Next event?
Gem state round up: no discussion
B-Group outreach and Pink can logistics. ~30 available at TVICO
Donation related question: Each group is autonomous in deciding how splits work. Options are
Central Office, GSO, Area 18
C- District 4 involvement: Michelle R – was able to provide information about what TAC is and
does and explain the difference between Pink Can and 7th tradition contributions. Would like to
get Hannah connected with someone from District 4 to bring them into the whole treatment
group that is in place. Michelle will discuss this and close the gap in this area.
D Secretary: To clean up the email list adding member positions. Also, when sending the
minutes out, please ask folks, “If you are on this email and no longer wish to be included, please
reply directly to me and I will remove you.”
Committee Reports: See attached
Corrections: see full report below. Ada County jail has new requirements: PREA training, in
person, a background check/finger printed, letter of good standing. For current volunteers –
when does this expire? How long is the turnaround time? If it is a renewal (done every 12
months) and should be able to continue volunteering while processing. A new signup turn
around? Ali will chat with Danielle about this.
John M – question about letter of good standing? Steve M said: A letter from your sponsor is
fine, a simple: is a member in good standing with Alcoholics Anonymous. Signed

Canyon Cty: not going in at this time
Gem Cty Jail: meetings (Keith attends meetings in Emmett), takes a meeting every Tuesday
night. John will email this info to be updated on the spreadsheet Joslyn maintains to
corrections@tvtac.com
Treatment: no report
CPC/PI: Lizzy – working on meetings and information for Duck Valley. Rule 62 took BBs to them
at their campout. There is a CPC/PI volunteer who will work with Molina from Duck Valley.
Bridging the Gap: nothing to report
Literature: No report
Accessibility: flyers available; please distribute at meetings. Spring Assembly has a special
committee set up to handle Spanish translation
Webmaster: nothing to report. Drew S is working with David to get all reports and minutes
updated
Intergroup: going well. Large donation made to facilitate the TVICO computer update ~$3600 in
sales with almost ~$1500 in profit, at the Assembly.Augh 2nd Lefty float in the p

TAC round table (Vivian reported): Jace from district 6 has taken over as the corrections chair
and they are doing some phenomenal work in the Bonneville area. August 15th is the Snake
River H&I picnic at Shoshone Park in Shoshone, which is also the same time as the Gem State
Round Up and the TAC business meeting. Divide and conquer.

    requirements that Ada county jail volunteers must follow annually:
  1. Submit background application
  2. Submit letter of good standing
  3. Attend PREA training in person.
  4. Current volunteers must also get a new set of fingerprints this year
